happy Monday babes!! today, were taking on the much overlooked tank top!! a man in a tank is not the easiest look to pull off, and lets be honest, you have to have a hot bod to even consider tackling the trend, but I do love the beachy vibe it portrays. in the south, you really only see the skaters/surfers rockin a beater, but it's definitely not a style specific to the stereotype. I gave it an updated twist by pairing this striped pocket knit with chambray striped trousers and rolled some sloppy cuffs to keep with the relaxed vibe. I added these brown lace-ups for a touch of vintage polish and completed the look with brown accessories, because I just love brown against navy on a man. this whole look has a haphazard thrown together look, and its definitely an unexpected pairing, but that's what I love about it!! shabby meets chic! hunky meets geek!
