it's our last post with Marks & Spencer, and omg, did Mav really ham it up for this one!!  scroll down for the full blown adorable baby montage.  i seriously tried to edit down, but there were just way too many good ones, so, apologies if kids aint really yo thang.

how can you not be in a great mood with that adorable little face lookin at ya??  oh my goodness, i just love that big ole smile.  i really kinda think we're done having kids, but then i think i'm really going to miss these days when all they want is to be held by mommy and they just fit so perfectly in my arms and even phoenix is already too cool for me to hug and kiss on him, so, ahh, it's a constant inner struggle.  do any of you guys have kids??  how do you know when you're done??

oh hey there friday eve!!  longest week ever is (almost) finally over!!  and i'm totally jump-starting the weekend in the most adorable way possible . . . . Mavster is taking over!!  i always have Mavie with me at events and shoots, so i love it when i actually get to include him in the shots.  he's just so stinkin adorable, don't you think??  it's ok, i know every parent thinks that about their child.  you don't actually have to agree with me.  i feel like Elaine "look at the baby, look at the baby!!"  but, really, look at my baby!!  because Maverick (and i) are sporting some fresh new duds courtesy of Marks & Spencer.   full disclosure, i had never shopped or even heard of the online store until a few weeks ago.  that's one of the wonderful incentives to blogging, you discover new shops and brands on the daily, and every once in a while, you actually fall in love!  this is most definitely one of those times.

oh hey babes!!!  back to back posts, like, who am i??  i would say get used to it, but, i'm thinking you probably shouldn't get used to it.  i struggle in the sit down and type a post department.  i don't know why.  the content is there, i always love what i'm talking about, but the distractions are endless and truthfully, i'm just more of a people person.  (sorry dell, i still love you, but you just freeze up when i talk to fast, and, you're kinda boring)  so, being that i am a let's hang and shop and chat fashion all day kinda gal, i absolutely LOVE getting the opportunity to host a party and do just that!!  hopefully you've already seen it on my insta, or fb, or that whole little snap story i did about a week ago, but if you didn't, consider this your official invite to come and hang with me (and the mavster) at Apricot Lane Mount Pleasant manana!!!!  there's gonna be sushi (my fave) shopping (duh!) and giveaways and eyebrow waxing and gossip and fashion and fun!!  that's the main point i'm trying to convey here, it's gonna be SO.MUCH.FUN!!!!!

ok, i know y'all know i love me some layers (especially a la the nineties) so today's look is all about that millennial meets clueless meets girl on a budget spring style.

purple rain

hey hey hey!!  this color already has me in a great mood, so i'm pretty pumped for hump day, how bout y'all??  today's look is all about when classic meets color.

bohemian summer

Hello Lovebugs!! Who's excited for Friday??  i know this chick is, that's for sure.  it feels like it's been the longest, most unproductive week ever, so a super lazy weekend is just what the doctor ordered (hehe).

Good Morning Lovies!!  How was your weekend, are you feeling refreshed??  unfortunately, all my poolside plans were drowned by that tiny little tropical storm that hit our yard.  on the plus side, the boys were able to utilize the massive puddles for a lil redneck "muddin".  it's pretty much Nix's favorite past time.  u've never seen a toddler so excited for some rain.  i decided to sit my butt up in bed with some Bravo in the background and finally sort that pile of socks thats been haunting me since december.  it was very therapeutic, lemme tell ya.

so, today we're veering off the norm and chatting a little bit about my daily routines.  i'm fairly basic when it comes to maintenance.  i rarely have time to shower much less groom and contour, so my mornings usually include the bare minimum.  drink my coffee, brush my teeth, lather and rinse.  makeup isn't always an option, or a necessity, but i do make sure to wash and moisturize my skin, ALWAYS!!!  i have combination dry/sensitive skin, so if nothing else, a fresh face always leaves me feeling clean.  ok, so here we go, insert generic product review here!  don't you hate those?  i got this for free, i love it so much, i use it everyday!  i did receive this Evian facial spray for free, it is a pretty cool concept, and i have been using it everyday, but only so that i can give you my honest to goodness review.  considering the aforementioned dry skin, i am always down to try a new form of moisturizer, and this spray truly doesn't disappoint.  for starters, it comes in a purse size aerosol spray can, which is pretty awesome slash slightly scary.  i love the fact that it's a spray so that i don't have to find something to wash my hands afterward, or worry that my hands aren't clean enough to apply it in the first place, but kind of intimidating to spray such a forcible mist onto your face.  it definitely takes some getting used to.  second up is the quality of product itself and if it actually does what it promises.  the bottle boasts that this product will moisturize, refresh and tone.  the initial mist feels nice and refreshing, with no aroma what so ever, which in my opinion is a plus!  once it settles, i would say that yes, my skin does feel moisturized.  i haven't necessarily noticed any tonage, but what exactly is that anyway?  i will say, after a sweaty runaround with the kids in this crazy humid carolina weather, a quick once over really does the trick to bring my face back down to normalcy.  lastly, would i buy this product myself?  i'm gonna give it a maybe.  i have been enjoying it, but i haven't decided yet if it's a "must have".  give me another week, once i've used up the can, and i'll let you know if i'm ready to snag another.

Hey Babes!!  Did everyone enjoy the long weekend??  Clearly i enjoyed it a bit too much, because here it's already Wednesday evening, and i have yet to accomplish anything.  seriously though, how does anyone get any work done when it's 90 degrees outside?  i know it's not officially summer, but . it feels like summer and it smells like summer, and in like 10 days it will be summer, so i'm LOVING it!! (in case you couldn't tell by that giant grin on my face)
