  Happy Thanksgiving Eve Lovies!!!!

i can already smell the turkey basting and pumpkin pie on the stove . . . gobble gobble!!

are ya'll as excited as i am??  you should be!  it's officially the kick off to the holidays!  black Friday, cyber Monday, the hustle and bustle of last minute Christmas shopping, i cant wait!

this jacket was a really early Christmas present to myself, and you've already seen it on the blog, but it has been such a needed item to my wardrobe.  i don't know how I've gone so many years without a black leather jacket (vegan of course)!  it is, in my opinion, a necessary staple and i've ogled over a dozen over the years but they were either out of my price range or not quite right.  im very picky about my jackets, especially one that i plan on wearing a lot.  my outfit alone was cute enough, but the leather adds that extra edge that i just love so much!  this lipstick blouse is tots adorbs and i got such a great deal (gotta love a sidewalk sale!) i paired it with my perfect skinnies and added my favorite pops of pink. 

on a side note: this Moon and Lola necklace is the perfect gift for any girl in your life, young or old!  its totally customizable from the font to the over 30 color options. (just sayin, don't be surprised if you get one from me this Christmas!)

i stuck with flats for today, which is actually my go-to on the daily, but i usually switch out to heels for pics.  sorry to disappoint you guys, this momma can't hardly manage 2 crazy boys in sneaks, so stilettos don't make the rounds all that often.  these oxfords however, are totally making me feet a lil more glam.  i just love the silver metallic and super pointed toe!  and its such a pop of fun when i look down, it instantly puts me in a happy mood!

 if you follow my insta, you've probably seen these shorts a time or two, and that's because I cant stop wearing them!!  as if the leopard print wasn't enough to suck me in, they are incredibly comfortable, super chic, and trimmed in raw edge lace.  (plus they're only $30!!!)  can you say total SCORE!!  thanks to my instatique (instagram boutique) obsession, I found these at the minted exchange which is the same shop I snagged last weeks floral kimono (SEEN HERE)!!  I have worn them a multitude of ways by now, but my first instinct, as with most of my leopard bottoms, was to pair it with a rocker tee.  this acdc tank has been in my wardrobe for a minute, see it worn HERE in the fall with leopard fur, shocking!!  I added a lil boho with this tassel necklace, again something I've had and continue to add tassels and gems etc, depending on the outfit.  my flops have become my sandal of the summer thanks to the neutral shade and gold studs and these metallic sunnies make every outfit fun.  this black crossbody was an easy addition for convenience purposes with the munchkins and the perforated detail is reminiscent of the cleobella bag I could never bring myself to pay for.  another super score from TJ's!!!

 heck to the yes, it is finally Friday!!!  now, I know as a stay-at-home mom, technically speaking I don't have a full work schedule that gives me reasoning to complain through the week and beg for the weekend to come, but my husband does!  and Friday means I get 2 solid days with my 3 favorite boys and an extra hand in the wrangling!!

do you ever haphazardly put together a totally adorable outfit, without intentionally trying?  that is what happened with today's look.  I fell in love with this hot pink embroidery and the way the tribal print pops off the white shift is stunning.  my only disappointment was that it is a shift!  i tend to have a bit too much bootie for the cut, and the clinging on the hips is less than flattering so i generally steer away.  but is was just too cute to pass up, so i grabbed my denim jacket from the fitting room floor, tied it around my waist and hoped for the best.  to my surprise, its a pretty cool vibe.  i've seen the likes of sincerely jules and song of style rock this trend in a more laid back fashion and I've done it a time or 2 with a chambray, but never with the thickness of a jacket (at least not since the 90's).

with my waist properly accentuated the rest of the pieces just fell into place.  i layered on some more pink and threw in a pop or 2 of turquoise.  i stuck with my white heels because they're funky in their own right and there was no need for more color.  i could not be more happy with how this turned out, and i am now putting my denim jackets on even heavier rotation bc this is perhaps my new favorite way to layer!  (second to coat-slinging of course!  i am still a super-fan of this trend)

birthday suit



I cannot believe this is my last year as a twenty something chica . . . . . when did I get so old??

since today is my birthday, I thought it best I wear a suit of sorts, and what better than this flirty fun floral set from MinkPink!!

I am totally in love with the matched sets that have been popping up everywhere for summer and this print is no exception.  The layered crop top and high-waisted shorts show off the tiniest sliver of skin and flow to perfection in the summer breeze. 

and hello!!  total Bonus alert!!  they're separates!!  this means I have the opportunity to style each item individually, which is basically 3 looks for the price of 1!!!

I've been groovin' on these circle sunnies for a 60's vibe and my layered chains still keep it fresh and funky.

I slipped on my fave metallic sandal and the cutest little Lucite coin purse for a burst of color.
