happy monday!!  so so much to talk about all in one little outfit, so lets get right to it.  ok, well first off, The Rise is my absolute favorite coffee shop to shoot at.  the lighting is always perfect, inside or out and they swap up the classic cars outside, so if you happen to be in Charleston and need a cute shot, do yourself a favor and swing down Wentworth for this little gem.  i'm not usually one for bright colored anything, but this car speaks to me because my first car was also a teal convertible with white leather interior, and he was a pimp ride!  sadly i totaled him at the Cheesecake Factory (true story), but he gave me a few good years.
as for my outfit, it's basically a compilation of my most loved items right now.  1. this Philanthropy white tee makes an appearance at least twice a week and usually gets slept in even more often.  it's ridic soft and it's white, so it goes with just about everything.  2. these Levis shorts from shop SXC are pretty much the ultimate cutoffs.  they sit high on the waist, they're not too short on the butt and they're a perfect faded wash.  3.  these Sam Edelman boots . . . . ummmm let's just say i have to force myself to wear anything other than these boots because i would legit wear them everyday if i didnt think my other shoes would get jealous.  they're seriously that good.  4.  this Free People camo coat is, well, it's camo, so honestly i dont know why i need to explain my love for it much further, but alas, it is the ultimate topper and a year round staple.  ok, so this guy is actually a score from last months Wantable edit (have you guys tried it yet?)  i love getting surprises at my door and every box is always full of fun new pieces to try!!  this one was obvi a keeper.  5.  my err day all day Henri Bendel crossbody is my fave new bag for summer.  i've been looking for a black bag with silver details since most everything i own is always with gold, and this one hit all my major needs.  room for my phone, keys, gum, etc.  adjustable crossbody style, and totally "cool girl" status.  so i'm off for more coffee, but i love you guys for stopping by!  have a great day!!

oh latte how i love you so!!  and skinny jeans and graphic tees and any excuse to combine the 3.  i've reverted back to my comfort zone and it's all about this combo as of late.  the jeans are a little more relaxed and the tees are a little more classic, but essentially, it's the same outfit i've been wearing for the last 10 years.  i finally purged my closet and replaced all my super skinnies (with the exception of a few, just in case) for vintage fits and frayed hemlines.  obvi, like every other girl on the planet, levi's rule supreme rn and my old stomping grounds have all the goods!!  shop SXC (styleXchange for you locals) is officially open on king and this typically online only shopper cannot quit buying up everything!  yesterday i bought the most perfect baker boy hat and 3 pairs of cut-off shorts for mexico, and i have plans to return today because i spotted 2 more one-piece swimsuits that i can't stop thinking about!!  they are seriously feeding all my addictions.  all my locals, JUST GO, i promise you will not be disappointed!!  and if not, you can always shop their ig feed which is equally as tempting.  and fyi, this isn't even a sponsored post, i just happen to really love that store and i wanted to share!  hope you guys have a wonderful tuesday!!

SHOP SXC levis c/o

let me just preface this post by stating that i actually have no clue what i am talking about and you probably shouldn't listen to a thing i have to say.  i am literally making this stuff up as i go.  so before you go following my "fitness plan" you might wanna invest a smidgen a bit of time into your own research, this is just a blow by blow of what my lazy butt has been up to lately.
last month this fitness company reached out to me about sending me some items (fyi: this is how it works in the world of blogging, we get "gifted" items all the time.  we are under no obligation to post about said product and usually i don't unless i actually do love the item being sent and in this case, i do love a great pair of leggings.)  i tried them on, they fit amazing and i got inspired.  i downloaded an app, i started paying attention to what i was eating and then i got busy and that inspiration fizzled and now i am back in the battle of wanting to be fit but not actually wanting to put any energy towards achieving that goal.  its a constant struggle. according to my sister, i'm fat on the inside . . . . . she's super sweet in case you couldn't tell.  and i know i have been genetically blessed to not really have to try, but i really do want to be fit.  i feel better, i sleep better, let's be honest, i look better (that's not vanity, that's just the truth)  working out and eating healthy puts me in an all around better mood, and i LOVE that feeling!  but more often than not, life gets in the way and before i know it, i've missed an entire week and it's back to step 1.  it can be depressing, i'm not gonna lie, especially when there's all the super human moms running around with their ridiculously bangin bods, fixing their martha approved meals and making it all look so easy.  i'm sorry, but where do these women find the time?  it is 1:30 in the afternoon on a friday and i am still currently in my pajamas, the pots from breakfast are still on the stove, and i've only managed to wash 1 load of laundry and it probably won't get folded or put away til next week.  so, for those of you asking; when is this chick ever gonna get to her workout routine?  this is it.  i eat fairly clean with excessive sugar snacking; i only drink water with a lot of coffee; i run around after 3 psychotic rugrats all day (this burns more calories than you would think) and occasionally, i manage to get in some form of aerobic activity.  i downloaded the Kayla Itsines SWEAT app, and when i have the time, i LOVE it!  nobody sponsored me to say that, it's just actually the most perfect app for the lazy exerciser.  the workouts are only 28 minutes long, you don't have to leave your house and you only have to do them 3 times a week and even though i only manage to average 1 a week, at least its something.  still dreaming of that rockin housewife figure but for now, i'm happy with my mom muscles.  what do y'all do to get/stay motivated?  i'd love to hear your tips and stories!!

have a wonderful weekend friends!!!!
