mix n' match

hello!!! ok, i know, i'm majorly dragging out this whole Charleston Fashion Week thing, but i just never want it to be over!! today's look is from Bridal Day which has actually become my most favorite show of the week. There's gorgeous gowns, tons of food, and this year even offered up an on stage proposal!! i totally cried, i'm not even gonna lie.

so, when it comes to bridal, i always think color and fun and most importantly, day time. it's so easy to get decked for the night shows, but day time can be a tad trickier because you still have to walk the streets in that look and head-to-toe python doesn't exactly translate well over brunch. so for the past 3 years, i've opted for sets. i don't know why, but they just feel very "ladies who lunch"and that's my go-to vibe for afternoon events. check out my first bridal look here and last year's bump set here. this set actually has the matching red shorts, but always being a fan of the unexpected, i swapped it for the contrasting blue pair instead. plus, i'm somewhat nostalgic, and i love an excuse to go full blown americana palate. these SEE sunnies were the perfect matching shade of blue and these tassel earrings added just enough bling to make this outfit complete. on a side note; after looking through my old posts, maybe it's time for a hair refresh?? i kinda loved that short lob i was rockin back in one four. maybe i chop it all off?? what do y'all think? should i switch up the locks??
