did everyone have a fun weekend??  I know it's monday, and that's no fun, but only a few more days til Thanksgiving which hopefully means a long weekend off to fill your bellies and enjoy time with loved ones!  I love any reason to be festive and im always down to stuff my face, so this time of year is my absolute favorite!!  the general vibe everywhere you go is cheery and bright and smells of cinnamon and pine.  it's an instant mood booster!!  plus, starbucks is serving my favorite bevs, so everyday is a good day with my red cup in hand!!
and if you needed another reason to love the holiday season .  . lets talk about the shopping, shall we?
as a dedicated shopaholic, shopping the sales and finding new 'tiques is basically my job, and I take it very seriously!!  which is why, I am so excited my bestie opened up her very own "Pop-Up Shop" making my addiction that much easier to feed.  with most items well under $50 and a vast assortment of new weekly styles, im basically her best customer.  get ready to see lots of fun finds including this printed kimono that is absolutely perfect for a breezy day.  to keep it comfy, I layered it over my favorite basic tee.  (I literally have every color, the deep v is so perfect and so soft).  and these ripped legging are an easy go-to.  booties would have been an obvious choice, but I just received these cognac heels, and im a sucker for a lace-up, so I strapped them on for a little more heel appeal and topped it off with the most perfect floppy hat (be prepared to see this like everyday!) and my fave boho beads.  be to check out Synergy Style on insta and facebook and book your very own pop-up party!!
I hope you guys enjoy your day!!
and thank you so much for welcoming our happy news!!  it was so nice to read all your comments of love and support!!

seeing as we spend most weekends in the country, i've learned to adapt my wardrobe accordingly.  not that this look strays to far from my norm, but heels are definitely not an appropriate option.  my basic philosophy for outfit planning is denim, tees, boots.  I love the rolled bfs and they're perfectly comfortable for a day outdoors with the rugrats.  I paired them with this slouchy tank and threw on my favorite utility top, pulled on my cowboy boots (shorties!  I haven't been able to embrace the full boot style, its still a bit too country for me) tousled my hair, and rolled out the door.  its a very simple and the most perfect way to relax on the weekends.  hope you had a restful weekend and a happy Monday!!!  also, be sure to scroll down and enter a fun giveaway with ASOS!!!

the heat has in no way vanished, and summer is still very much upon us, but the fall fashions all over IG have me a little envious so I pulled my favorite skinnies out of the closet and took them for a spin, (a bit prematurely) and it was back to cutoffs for the rest of the weekend.  hopefully all this rain will cool things off and I can start wearing all the fun trends I've been accumulating for fall.  feeling very much caught in the middle of these 2 seasons, i stuck to my boho roots and paired my aged AG's with fun ikat printed tank.  the colors aren't particularly meant for any specific season, so i can definitely see myself layering on a chunky wrap come winter and switching out my flops for booties.  truly the entire inspiration for this look, and the reason for purchasing this tank, was to wear it with this aztec cross necklace!!  i just love the way the purple pulls into the print and after attending Betsy's trunk show, her designs have become my latest obsession.  if you get a chance, be sure to check out her etsy shop, or check her out on insta to see what local boutiques might carry her line.  i had such a difficult time choosing which should be my first and ultimately went with "the Carla" in this purple hue.  i also love her arrowhead designs, and of course, you can never go wrong with a tassel.
